I've provided an ftp site for trading concert recordings, pictures, videos, etc....

This site is mostly for boots of the following artists: The Choir, The Lost Dogs, DA, 77s, Adam Again, and Mike Knott*.

As you may notice, this site isn't incredibly fast. The max outgoing speed is only 30k (300kbps in modem terms... so much faster than a 56k modem or a ISDN line). If your uploading to the site it will be faster. This speed isn't likely to improve and it decreases if many people are logged in (the maximum # of users is 10). So, if you would like to offer a faster ftp to be used together with this one, that would be greatly appreciated.

I also encourage the uploading of lists of bootlegs you have for trade.

If you would like to upload anything else just ask. As I emailed representatives of the above bands for permission I'd prefer if you'd do the same with other bands. However, my policy is that any (non-commercial) recording may be uploaded and will stay on the ftp unless representatives of the artist(s) request the removal of the material.

a few rules

• material uploaded must not have been available commercially ever
• the preferred format for music is currently mp3 as boots generally don't suffer much from losses
• all uploads should be made in the incoming directory
• please have a common element to all the filenames to make my sorting job easier
• if you can upload a text file with any additional info about the recording that you wish to share and maybe a list of the files you uploaded
• please inform me if I move your files over too soon (while your uploading them), I've done it once already
